Help identify this steering wheel and where to get one
I saw this wheel on the rx7 Facebook page but the poster wouldn't tell me where he got it, only that he'd sell it for 4x what he paid. Does anybody have info this?https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...7330d2c4a9.jpg

Maybe this is some super rare wheel I'm not familiar with, but at it's core just looks like your average Mazdaspeed/Momo Monte Carlo wheel wrapped in alcantara with some embroidery.

It's the steering wheel from a MX-5 cup car. Notice the pic above isn't a Rx7 interior? That's the interior of the MX-5

That's no NC either. Brand new 4th gen MX5

Because I know no one reads links.
Custom Max Papis Innovations race steering wheel. Products Archive - Max Papis Innovations And while the seat position felt right, I also asked to have the specially made ‘Max Papis Innovations’ race steering wheel moved a tad further forward – but there’s no reach or tilt adjustment, so we may need to remove the spacer prior to the first or second practice session. Looks like it is based off the MPI-F13/14-A model. |

Mazdamotorsports.com sells them. Yes they are for the new MX-5 cup car but would likely fit your Rx-7 with proper hub adapter.

Part #: 0000-10-5650-MZ Previous Price: $214.99 New Price: $198 PARTS SPOTLIGHT: Mazda Motorsports Steering Wheel by MPI Mazda Motorsports has dropped 220 competition parts to better support our racers. We first feature the steering wheel for the Global MX-5 Cup car and many others, created by Max Papis Innovations.
The first wheels, as supplied to the Global MX-5 Cup, had the “MAZDA” stitching in blue and a red top-center marker. We have sold out of those, however, and switched to the gray stitching with the “Winged M” logo in the center. But should be able to configure with their custom steering wheel option if not considered proprietary. |
Looks like a momo bolt pattern where it bolts to the hub :icon_tup:
