Help!!! Cant get my damn aftermarket steering wheel straight
 

So, here's the deal i replaced my stock steering wheel with a SPARCO Extreme 2 steering wheel a few weeks ago, before pulling off the stock wheel i made sure (i thought) to make sure the wheel and tires were top dead center. So i swap the steering wheel out but today when i get in to drive the car to BNR Supercars to work on my seats i back out of my driveway i notice the steering wheel is off center bad, so i get to Brians shop and i make sure i park with the wheels straight, i reclock the steering wheel so that the steering wheel is straight and go work on my seats, i get my seat sorted out and go to leave Brians shop and i'll be damn the steering wheel is still cocked sideways when driving in a straight line!!!!! What am i doing wrong, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Compare the gear alignment teeth with the original wheel. If they are off, you will need to adjust your steering tie rods. You can either pay an alignment shop to do it, or you can adjust the steering tie rods yourself. It's not that hard to DIY. Just make sure you adjust the nuts "equally" on both sides.

Example, if it take 3 turns of the tie rod adjusting nut on one side, do the exact same amount of turns on the other side in the same direction. Lock both nuts and go for a drive. If your steering is WAY off, all this means is you adjusted the nuts the wrong way. Simply go back in and turn them backwards the same amount of original turns to bring them back to the original position and then you can further adjust three additional turns to take it the other way. Go drive again and see where the steering aligns up. Remember always do both sides. This assures you keep the proper toe end. ;)

I always drive around without the wheel bolted down. Drive and adjust it as you drive around then bolt it in.

check under the car to ensure that the steering rack is bolted down with all four bolts.... two of them are hidden inside small circular cutouts in he subframe.
