fixing stock side mirror??

my driver side mirror is kinda wably and loose, and i took the door panel off, and i didnt see anyway to get to it, maybe i didnt look hard enough.. is there a way to take it off from the outside, or did i just not look hard enough under the door panel?? so how do u get to it?? lol.. i guess is the main question here.

pivot the mirror from the outside and there are 2 mounting screws there.

Mine rattled and I thought it was the glass. Turned out the screws were loose. If you rotate the mirror itself (not glass) you will see the screws. There are two large ones and a 3rd small one holding the mount. They are easy to strip, so it's best to buy news ones before you mess with them.

so u move the side mirrors, and just screw them while ur holding the mirror the side?? or do they come off??

i see the screw thats loose, but how do i get to it, if i pivot the mirror, it still doesnt pivot enough for me to stick a wrench in there and turn it, .... is there a way i can take the thing completely off and tighten it?? yea, and those manuals are to complicated, to much information.. everything but what im looking for, i look through both body manuals. no luck. =/

hummmm yeah im lost there buddy. Thats how you get the mirror off as well. Why do you need a wrench? Or is that another way of saying screw driver? All they are is a couple of philips screws.....

Are you serious? Go to Section S of the Service Manual (not the Body Electric), look for Side Mirrors in the index. Go to that page. They have nice picture diagrams and everything.
