I don't own a FC.

Alot of us FD guys like to see pictures of the headlight beam pattern. I'm pretty sure you've sold alot of these but that might help you more.

IMPACT 7 11-21-06 12:44 AM

Female, entrepreneur, and drive an FC? Wow. Free bump for you. :)

then find this guy. he got it down pretty well didnt he? i dont have the money to put into them. you guyz get those hid kits for your pop ups. some one is already doing it.

honestly i dont have the kind of funding to do trial and error on an fd. hell i dont even have one to try on.
i'll stick to fc. fd's lights rotate down. fc stay forward.
its alot to calculate in. and you wont be able to close the lids and all that fun stuff.

87rx7girl 11-21-06 10:36 PM

this is the inside set

and this is the outside set

But this set ^ is a taller beam. its not just on the ground. its pretty nice. and i havent had any one complain about my lights being in their eyes while driving either

lol. bro, i aint no bro. i am a chick :bigthumb:

yeah i'll gladly make them.but idk... depending on how much each lens is. and how much material is.

see on these lights i am selling for the fc. i dont have to make brackets. the brackets work perfect on the fc

on these i will have to make brackets AND include the headlight motor adjustment swtich.

i would have to do alot of work for each kit.

but some time in the next week i'll rip into an fd and check out what i am working with.

like i said. the glare from my cell phone cam made it look wierd.

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...07-06_2010.jpg

the concentrated beam goes no higher then about stock. but the non concentrated beam does light up surrounding area. not to blinding.

CarbonR1 11-24-06 02:37 PM

Nice to see an entrepreneur! Nice looking lights on the FC too!

:) thanx for the compliment. you did a nice job on your lights awswell

SMKNRX7IL 11-30-06 06:31 PM

Are those lights already HID projectors?

jic 11-30-06 07:23 PM

shouldnt this be in the fs section?

Gorilla RE 11-30-06 07:51 PM

im sorry to say but it isnt the glare on the garrage thats the problem.....its the lights. you see how they are all the way past the top of the door? well its because they dont have any cut off point. and that is very blinding.

also this kit may look good to some people but it f'ed up the design of the housing. mazda spent a lot of time in wind tunnel testing to figure out the design
of the pop ups. you see the factory black ring around the light housing in the pic? well it used to have a perfect bumper to fender to hood to top of the light fit. now its just a big "slow down scoop" and plus it puts a lot of pressure on the light cover when your at speed.

ARMAN 12-04-06 07:41 AM

yeah but it lets in some cold air so it compensates. ;)
