Driving lights...just an idea
I'm not good with wiring at all but I had an idea. Those light slits for the "flash to pass" system would be a good spot for some small driving lights. Would there be anyway to wire a small led or bulb driving light type thing (don't really know for sure what I would yet) so they would go on with the existing amber driving lights, or even by pass the amber ones. My only concern is messing with turn signal functionality.

u can always run some aftermarket led lights and run it to your head lights or parking lights with a relay. Or try cork-sports in vancouver they got the jdm replica of the flash to pass lights that stay on while driving.

The re-wiring makes it so it's just as if the headlights were up: starts out as low-beam but you can turn on the highs like you normally would. I've found turning them on high works best for visibility during the day and since they are only shining through the FTP lenses, they are far from blinding other cars.
I found a low-profile black switch at radioshack and drilled a hole in the lower steering wheel column. Isn't noticeable at all unless you are looking for it. I've gotten myself in trouble though by forgetting to turn them off when I get out of the car... |
