DIN pocket or cover

I removed the radio and want to cover the hole

I was lloking for a inexpensive pocket like this one
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/univ...ket-p-664.html

but the only ones I could find are in the UK or AUS

Do you know of any US vendor who has a pocket or cover that would snap in?

It's for a FD

Thanks

Maybe try the local Best Buy, auto parts or car stereo shop also. I think I've seen them at local retaillers.

Yes, I saw that. I was hoping I could find something simpler. I just need a cover because so required by the rules. O well, I can always use some tape...

Incidentally, I believe I saw you engine at Ihor's but that was before your recent thread. I did not pay much attention at the time.

Thanks for your reply.

FWIW, I once fabbed/cut one out of some thick, black plastic board and glued it on. Held up well for years. This was on an old VW with a ridiculously stiff suspension many ages ago. I think the retail name for that is a 'blanking plate/cover' but I could be wrong. A friend that worked at an audio shop gave me the board thing.

PM airatdk (sp).

He fabbed up a matte black din plate with custom holes (for the devices i wanted to add) but you can get a blank matte black plate or whatever color.
