BOSE problem

My Bose system is acting funny. The rear tube has a wierd rattle-like sound when the system is on and the right speaker is not on when it is raining or has just stopped raining. The right speaker also will cut-off after a while of playing. Do I need to dump the whole system or can my components be fixed. I like the Bose system and I would hate to have to change everything out.

well you could replace the speakers if you wanted to take out a second mortgage, they rape you at the dealership. You could probably replace your speakers and put a small amp on them for about the same price.

It sounds like a short in the wiring from the head unit to the speakers. Check the speaker end first bc it's probably easier than pulling the head unit out.

If case you need new speakers, check with Bose directly to see if they have a replacement.

Hey The amps on the rear subs are known to go out after a few years. I bought a used rear assembly from a guy on here for 60 bucks. Beta that price. Also Bose will service thier product for a very reasonable price. Good luck.
