Bomex body kit questions

i like the way it looks but is it fiber glass or poly? im thinkin of getin the whole kit or a 99 spec front end and the bomex side skirts but the 99 spec is kinda played out

Yea...if your expert body shop is Maaco. Any body shop can do just as good a job on either. It just takes a hella lot more work to play w/ fitment and smooth or thin parts down on urethane, because you can't just sand it down. You have to SHAVE it down...

if you want a nice clean look, then yea go with the 99 spec front and apex'i sides like everyone does ...if you want something aggressive then go with the bomex kit. whatever you do, don't add the two together! that's just rancid ;) it's really up to you though, but there are a ton of different kits out on the market...it's all up to personal taste.

Polyurethane looks better then fiberglass once painted and im my opinion is easier to work with.

I like polyurethane better too, but fiberglass is not too bad. Polyurethane is more durable though.
