Aux cable into factory radio?
I have my 85 gsl with the "premium" sound system. Sounds pretty decent an I just want to keep the factory radio installed. Problem is usually I run pandora in to a tape adapter out off my phone. But lately something's screwy with the head unit while using the tape deck. First onley left speakers work. Then if you screw with it enough the the right will start to work but then bass only comes out of the right an not the left! Only seems to be a problem with the tape deck. Basically is there some way I can just hard wire a aux cable into the radio some how?

I have a S5 Convertible with stock Pioneer and headrest speaker set-up and am wondering the same thing. I'm also using tape deck to device system and after 20+ years it finally went. For some reason no one works on these anymore.
So, is there a way to "patch-in" to the stock stereo? If not, what head unit would work with the 6 channel, headrest set up? |
id like to know to.
I know fm modulator would be an option but they usually sound crap. |
