American Head Units
Ok im an Aussie as u can see, now im thinking of getitng a Unit there to save me a few bucks, is there anything different at all I wonder compared to Aussie units....our cars use 12 Volt Batteries, AM/FM bands, I spose thats about it I need to worry about. Its the same there right?

Yeah 12v negative ground (earth), and AM-FM.
Could say im on the opposite side of the fence. I know nothing of Aussie radios. :) |
Well Europe uses quarter frequencies' (for example FM 97.25 can be found in Europe, but in the US it would be either FM 97.1 or FM 97.3) so as long as Australia doesn't use quarter frequencies, I wouldn't see any reason that a radio made for US use wouldn't work fine down under.
BTW: where is Coffs Harbor? |

There are switchable units available that can use the European frequencies or the American Frequencies.
