300-400$ FD Seats?
I’m looking into buying some aftermarket seats for my FD, I’m not too familiar with good vs bad seats. I do know they can get quite expensive. I’m just after something non leather, I’m not track racing it or anything so I don’t need anything too fancy, and I would like them to be reclinable. So is there anything in the 300-400$ per seat range for something like that? Oh and I would like them to fit, I don’t want them hitting my door. Thanks for any help! |
Refinish the stock seats and retain the value of your car. :bigthumb:
Comfortable, reclinable, fit properly and they even have the seatbelt guide built in. |
I was honestly thinking that lol if I could get some affordable quotes I’d do it in a heartbeat, everything I’ve seem tho is like 600 and up per seat? But please....if I’m wrong, correct me lol |

Second on refinishing your OEM seats. Anything that cheap in the aftermarket segments are not worth putting in your car. It's a safety issue.

I actually had my seats reupholstered from tan to red at a local body shop for $800 for both seats (also has the rear pockets!). It was also through a friend hook up, so you can definitely find an auto-upholstery shop for less than $1000 a set.
EDIT: I used synthetic leather (which they recommend - easier to clean, lasts longer). If you want genuine leather, it may cost more. Honestly I would not be able to tell the difference =) |

Wow, those look great. I love red interiors :icon_tup: |
Oh damn those look real good...making me want to go the leather route 😂 |
Thanks! Inspired by the Spirit R Recaros that I couldn't afford, plus the reclinable and comfort of OEM.
