3 Gauge Pod in Single DIN Help in TX

Hey, Like the title says. 3 Gauge Pod in single DIN. I need some help tho. Not with the install.... Here is the run down. I was searching for a nice 3 gauge DIN pod that could be mounted in either DIN in my FD. Well I found this one...

at a 300zx website

Well I got in contact with Damon at 300 Degree.com. Damon said "I'm sure it won't fit the FD since it's very specific to the contours of the Z32 console. The only way it works out and looks worth a hoot is if it's allowed to be larger than a DIN sized opening. I haven't looked at the interior of an FD in a long time to know what's possible. If there is enough interest in the FD community, it is something we would entertain."
I replied to him "Cool, I'd say if you want to get an idea of how many people would be interest just post on the Mazda and Rx7 forums, like Rx7Club and EECM are two that I am a member of. IF you want I can go make a thread on the Forums and forward you the results. And if you just make it to fit just in the DIN you could have any car owner be interest in your part and that will broaden your market. Also I would like to mount the gauges in the top DIN for better visibility instead of the bottom DIN, but that is me being picky that's why I say just make it to fit the DIN so people have options."

This is his response
"Ryan:

You have anyone in the N Dallas area that could meet up with me to take a look at it? I'd be interested if someone has the upper DIN empty so I can see what's going on in there.

Thanks,

Damon"

And there is my Problem
I live in NC not North Dallas... Can any help me out?

there is quite an angle on the dash of an fd. you dont need the angled gauge din if you dont want. you should sit in the car and put a gauge in the din hole and see you like it straight or not. he is a straight one.http://www.egauges.com/vdo_indA.asp?PN=PAN-001
