Why can't I edit my own classifieds post?
Subject is the basic question. I read the sticky on this same question, but its last post dates back to 2011, so not sure if that info is still relevant...
Anyway, back to my question, I have an ad on the 2nd gen parts section for a bunch of parts. My intent for editing my OP is simply to (a) Add additional parts to it that I now have available; (b) Add pictures of those additional parts; and (c) Mark items SOLD when they sell. That's it - very simple, seems silly to me that an OP is unable to do this. Thanks! |
i believe there's a time limit to be able to edit it. just add posts to the thread to keep it updated.

The reason that has been stated by mods is that it leaves a paper trail. That way you can't edit prices and other things to scam a buyer. The documentation is tedious, but it protects the seller and the buyer in the long run.

Are you joking, I can't edit my own post. I need to change the price. Come on there must be a way to edit?
|
i think there is a 30 min window to edit a post. after that if u wish to reduce the price, just reply to the post with the reduced price. if u realize a mistake after the 30 min window, again just reply with the corrections. but seriously though it's not that big of a deal.

OP's request was previously completed. Thank you, rxtasy3 for the helping hand! Thread closed.
