remove and edit thread

Is there a way to remove your thread or post, edit mistakes?

You have 30 minutes to edit any post you make and then that's it. Supposedly, you can also close your own threads in the Classifieds but I don't know how to do that myself. If you need to delete any thread, contact a Moderator.

For the 30 minute reason cited above, you'll often find me merging back-to-back posts that fall into that window. Don't "Post Reply" for a new post if you've already posted a reply in a thread 5 minutes, even 10 minutes before, click the Edit and add the additional comments to that older post if there's been no activity since you're earlier posting. ;)

Mario,

I read your reply above and have a question. If I have an active FS thread, is there no way to edit the original post to change the price I first listed? If not, should I open a new thread as an alternative?

Thanks!

No, do not start a new thread. Simply contact a Moderator and we can change the title or any part of the thread to what you want. If there's a price change and some unwanted ridiculous posts, we'll generally change the price and then delete all the posts that are deemed "unnecessary" to the thread in a clean up action.

Is there something specific you'd like me to look at?:Wconfused

To close your own thread, just go to the "thread tools" at the top right corner of the Original Post within the thread and there's an option to close the thread. Just submit...and done! Figured I'd let anyone interested know.
