How long does it normally take....

...to approve a started thread? Read through the FAQ, etc and posted up an introductory thread. I was just wondering since this site is way different than my 12 years of being on car forums! (not a bad thing)

It depends.
Let's put the shoe on the other foot for a second!..

How fast can you sift through 50-100 threads?.Look for all necessary info?Make sure that the Material meets rules.

Do you work?,Do you have kids,Do you have to feed the dog?..Oh,the wife wants to play..(ahem!..yay!..back later..!!!!)
All mods are volunteers, so it comes down to the Extra time they have in which they can do it.
Oh!..look!
Here it is! It is in the RULES that a New Member must Read before Posting!
Posting:

All new members with under 3 posts are able to reply to any thread in the New Member Section. New threads started by these members will enter a Moderation Queue. This means that you will not see your thread immediately. It can take a few days for a Moderator to review and subsequently approve your post. If your post does not appear, please do not resubmit it immediately. If after three days your post is still not shown, this probably means it was not approved.
