how long does it generally take for a "for sale" add to get approved and posted?

Depends on the day, but generally less than 24 hours. Considering you only have 9 valid posts, it won't get approved yet :)

Minimum of TEN posts to place an ad.
If you reply to an ad and it shows you with less than Ten then your reply gets wiped.

It's not a sellers haven,it is a Car forum first with the luxury given to MEMBERS to sell.
