- First, look in the thin, horizontal taskbar near the top of the page for User CP....click on it.
- To the left is the control panel with the big heading, Your Control panel
- Go down to the third sub-header titled, Settings & Options.
- Under that is Edit Avatar...click on that.
- If you're under 10 posts (100...?), you cannot select a custom avatar, at least you used to not be able to. You have to use the box titled, Pre-defined Standard Avatars and select something from there.
- If, by chance, you can actually see the box under that titled, Custom Avatar, that is where you would upload a small file, .jpeg, .gif, etc., that will consequently be seen as your avatar once you choose one of the upload options and then hit the Save Changes bar.
