teddy e6k wiring problem

on the crank angle sensor are there wires that are crosses backwards or need to be switched in order to match the e6k to get a spark. I heard this somewhere that the haltch forum made a mistake and that yes the two wires need to be switched if so which one are they. please pm thanks.

Huh? what are you talking about? there are 4 wires coming out of the CAS, 2 for one reluctor pickup (24 teeth) and 2 for the other reluctor (2 teeth). The first is the main trigger and the other the home trigger. There is no switching of any wires.

I think this has been covered many times, and also the Haltech forum should show a couple of threads on how to connect this. And finally the Manual has a wiring diagram and tells you how to connect these properly too.

The CAS runs a pair of magnetic sensors.
The magnets have polarities - plus and minus.
Just match them up with the Haltech wiring, since Haltech labels them HOME + / - and SYNC + / -.
There is no magic to this.

Um... Haltech lables them Main trigger, or REF, or Home trigger, or Sync.

hahaha, last thing I touched was an E6K, and even that was a few years ago.
Thanx for the correction!

Dont sweat it, anybody needs my help with an older system, ive worked on F3's, F7's, E6A, E6S, F9's, etc.. The only system i've never gotten the chance to actually play with has been an E6. That is a true dynosaur. What i miss about those ancient systems is that they even had the "quick map" feature for the fuel map, saved a little bit of time there, i really miss that on the X.
