TechEdge v1.5 with Haltech E6X for Closed Loop?

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone with a Haltech E6X or E6K has ever used the closed-loop function with the Tech Edge wideband output (0-5v)? I am installing a E6X right now, and would love to hear of tips/experiences if anyone has any.

I do see that the Haltech E6X can take the input from the NTK 5-wire sensors no problem.. Anyone done it here?

Um, why?
A cheapy $20 narrow-band O2 sensor will do the job just fine.
You do know this is only for light-load fuel efficiency, right?

The Haltech cannot do full fuel map load "programming" with a wide-band O2 input.

Hmm... Well I have had the Tech Edge in my car for about 2 years now. Thanks for the info.

Ok, I am ready for better fuel economy under cruising. Since the stock ECU no longer controls the fuel injectors, the signal from the stock O2 should be usable by the E6X, correct? If so, would I need some type of seperate controller box for a stock O2 narrowband sensor, or would just having power to the sensor suffice?
