Sensor Part numbers?
I searched and searched and searched for the GM specific or Napa or AC-Delco type sensors for my Haltech E6X.
I need the part numbers for the following sensors; Air intake Temp sensor (metric thread) Water temp sensor (metric thread) It would be preferable to get them with either Napa or GM part number but AC-Delco will work also. Thanks Guy's Jeffrey |

I don't think they are GM parts?

the metric thread stuff isnt for any north american car. you cant get it from gm, you cant get it from pepboys, it doesnt exist here.
its a holden part |
yeah it is from a holden comodore, or something like that but I did after hours of searching find the part numbers.
Thanks again guy's! The hitman helped me out! RETed, They are GM specific part numbers. But you can get "jobbers" from Napa, AC-Delco... etc. |
What I meant was that you can't get them easily in the US?
It's just like asking US Mazda dealers to get you J-Spec or Euro-spec parts? -Ted |

But I actually found the GM specific part numbers on the internet from Australia. then Went to my local GM dealer gave them the GM specific part number and voila. Then I asked for one of the applications for the vehicle (there were many) and went to napa to get it. At quite a bit Cheaper. |
Wow, that's cool.
Wish I could order some clear front bumper lights for my S4. :P -Ted |
here are the GM specific Part numbers for the following sensors;
Air Temp Sensor; 25036751 Water Temp Sensor; 15326386 You can usually go to your local AC-Delco or Napa stores and use these part numbers tell them that they are GM specific Part Numbers and they will do a cross refference to their own parts. ReTed are razzing me?, or making fun of me? If so :P... Lol |

Can somebody tell me for certain the tap size I should use for the sensors?
The Haltech manual says 3/8 NPT-18, but I bought that tap and it's obviously not correct. I did go to the local parts store and checked out the sensor with the aforementioned part number, and it's the same sensor. I just have no way of telling what size it is. I'm going to be annoyed if the air temp sensor is the only thing holding me back from cranking the car ;) Victor |
i used 3/8 npt-18 tap and she worked just fine. that is for the air temp sensor that I posted above
|
Any idea on the o2 sensor?
|
yup, just go to your local parts store tell them the year and make of your car and it will work with the haltech no problem.
|
:)
I was thinking more of the haltech one:) |
Well, the sensor I have is a 5/8-18 NPT.
|
is the part number the same as the one I posted above?
|
they looked the same when i checked at the parts store...but this particular sensor is the one that came with the haltech. i bought it secondhand, though it was never installed previously.
|
anyone have a 2 or 3 bar map sensor number? thanks

Lol i bought a AC-Delco iat sensor with a cross reference part number listed above, but for some reason this sensor is a lot bigger than 3/8npt-18 or 14mm x 1.5. it's actually bigger than 5/8npt. can someone let me know. thanks |
