Sending TE wideband output to E6K for datalogging
I want to send the output signal from my TE wideband to my E6K for datalogging. The link below shows pin #4 on the RJ145 cable needs to go to the o2 sigal on the E6K. Has anyone done this or have a better idea.. Thanks..

Search for it....
This has come up before. You have to use different software for the Haltech. |
No matter which software it must be hooked up to the 'Spare AD' input.
The regular software reads in voltage and the upgraded software reads in A/F ratio. More important the software provides no way of calibrating the input to read the exacct A/F ratio of the Techedge because it was setup or calibrated to read from another brand of wideband. You'll have to compensate when reading the the actual A/F ratios. The voltage reading on the 'Spare AD' input will be closer to the actual output of the TE so you can use that to determine actual A/F ratios based on the output voltage vs A/F ratios of the TE wideband. The E6K is calibrated to read a 0-5v/10-20a/f input. So if the techedge can be setup with the same output voltage vs A/F then it's going to be close. I beleive the E6K software that read in A/F ratios was the 1.34u version. I'll have to double check that though. |

help
i tried to get that version from haltech and they said it is not available. can you help me?

Regarding the techedge(2A0/1), yes it can and does need to be reprogrammed to have correct AFR readings. You should use the wbconf program http://www.wbo2.com/sw/conf.htm
