RX7Club.com - Mazda RX7 Forum - Haltech Odd fuel problem..

So, we had just finally set a decent, although stupidly rich, tune on my FC (e6x, T04e, 550cc primaries, 1600cc secondaries) and so I went for my first real launch to get a feel for the new power. Right after my launch (probably didn't eclipse 60 mph) I noticed that it was getting the 1600 rpm spike and running somewhat funny. So I lowered the reluctor gain to 1 (from 2) and it seemed to go away. Then, however, after driving it a bit it didn't want to idle, and was backfiring a bit. Well, i just didn't want to worry about it and parked it for a few hours. Went back out and it started up fine, drove for about, oh, 15 minutes on the interstate seemingly fine until I hit an interstate offramp. Hit that, slowed to a stop and the car just flooded out. Seems like it just never backed off fuel as the rpm's went back down to an idle. I popped the hood to see if there was anything obviously wrong and i couldn't see anything, but I could still hear something. It turns out that my fuel pump was still pumping away and it was, i'm guessing, still causing the injectors to go flow freely. This is just with the car off and the key in the on position. My first assumption was that the stock primaries had just given out and were stuck wide open. Well, i swapped those out and it didn't help at all. I pulled the fuel pump fuse and it stopped everything, but pulling that and putting it back in didn't help any either. I'm just kinda lost I guess. I'm just now getting the hang of the E6x, and this has just kinda thrown me for a loop. Checked injector plug connections and soldiers and they seem to be fine, i'm just unsure as to what could be causing the fuel injectors to stay open. They are also reading as closed on the Haltech. After manually shutting the injectors off and doing several traditional tricks to un-flood it and figure the situation out, i've had no luck.. Hopefully its something stupid that I've just done wrong..Any ideas? Thanks guys.
