PNP Harness understanding outputs

I've been looking at the PNP options and I'm trying to understand a few things relating to the sequential/other? wiring:
http://files.haltech.com/downloads/Elite_PlugnPlay_Adaptors/HT-141328-Mazda_RX-7_Series_6_Adaptor_Harness_Quick_Start_Guide.pdf

Of the pins that point out support for the elite 2000/2500 there are the following:

(Edit: See next post for image)

Loss of "Air Pump Clutch Relay" - I assume this means it will free-wheel and not inject air to the cat (Not a problem as I plan on removing the air pump).
Air Relief Valve 2 - What is this, what will be affected by not using it?

Additionally the car is a JDM model so I have no EGR, could this output be re-purposed as the "air relief valve 2" (if needed)
Also I'll likely remove the purge control system so I guess this could also be re-purposed as well.

Bit of a ghost town here, but I decided to just give up and go for the 2500, probably a bit over-kill but the ability to have all stock integrations, plus added benefits of 4d maps, extra outputs (especially when I go single turbo etc) means its a safe purchase!

Sorry, since Skeese just got banned, he would have been the guy most likely to help you out here with his Haltech experience.

You won't regret going 2500. So much flexibility.

PM me if you have any questions. I'm really starting to lose the spirit of this forum.

Hey guys! Somebody done screwed up and let me back in

But really, I'm here to help if I can. From working with zoomzoom who recently bought one of the newly released haltech patch harnesses I came to find out that they changed it from the way the old E6k and PS1000/2000 series patches were laid out (which were also plug and play to the new elite ECUs). I haven't look deep enough into the new Haltech quick start guide and pinout within to know how the interface really changed. I've attached the schematic from the old style patch harnesses for general reference there.

I'm assuming most all of the major outputs are the same since it does transfer over to the same oem harness pinout, so hopefully this will shed some light on the actual function of each output as it is FD RX7 specific. You can definitely turn off the air pump clutch relay function and output if you have deleted the airpump. Comparing the new haltech patch pinout to that of the OEM harness, the "air relief valve" you are talking about is the solenoid that allows the airpump to flow to the air from the airpump to the port on the oem midpipe for emissions control. A forum great once called it "a sort of airpump "blowoff valve" used when the airpump is declutched" which painted the clearest picture to me.

Point being, if you are deleting the airpump you can disable and remove that **** too.

Thanks Skeese, really useful information, looks like the 2000 would have been more than adequate for my needs (hopefully this thread will help out others at least). To be honest though I'm glad I went for the 2500, as it gives the most possibility down the line. Once I've got the patch harness and ecu, I'll try and take some pictures as there isn't much info out there other than the quick start guide, may be useful for others.
