need relay for haltech thermofan?

i was wanting to use my haltech to do a thermoswitch for my efan. does it have an internal relay or do i need to use a seperate one?

use a seperate relay ECU cannot take the amperage of a fan motor. use one of the Bosch "fog light" relays. ECU will switch the ground wire.

can i use one of the stock relays (like for the AC or PS) that are useless in the car right now?

sure as long as the amp rating is large enough for the fan and you know the wire connections.
