Anybody know if this Shiftlight requires a relay? or it can be hoked up direcly to the Haltech using a 12V feed and a PWM to compelte the circuit?

I have never used a relay with the Autometer shiftlight when using a Haltech.

So im guessing these lights are less than 1A of load given the fact that the haltech can sink them. :D Good to know.

Just an update to this thread, I got the light yesterday and have it installed. It is a bright red led light and works great. Special thanks to C.Ludwig for posting the link. Enjoy!

you can buy a box load of LED's for $38. I have a very bright single yellow LED on my car that I bought at the electronics store for $5. that Haltech light looks similair to the MSD LED shift light as well. no relay needed for small light bulb loads.
