LS1/LS2 Coil Wiring
Howdy folks, perhaps I've just missed it in my searches but I'm in need of the wiring schematic for the LS2 coil. I found one on a Megasquirt site but the diagram doesn't line up right with the pin labels on the connector clips (A, B, C, D). Does anybody here have an accurate diagram I can go on?
Thanks. B |

Thanks, Sess. I owe a favour now.

The A, B, C, D is the same for both coils. The connector simply has them flipped 180*.

Ok, Chris. So go by the A, B, C, etc labelling then?
|
Yes. The lock on the plug is just flipped over so it looks different. Put the pinout as it corresponds to the letters is the same.

Aha! That's it. That cured my confusion on it. Thanks!

i know its around but it would be nice to have all the info in this thread. what are the settings i need to change on an e6k to run ls2 coils?

You're limited to around 3ms with the E6K/X. Since they fire the leading in wastespark, the duty cycle catches up to you at high revs. You can program the ECU for more, but it will cut short the charge time at higher revs when duty cycle dictates.
