just a note on the IAT and CT sensor clips.
the wires go through the clips first, then you crimp on the connectors. nowhere is this said in the manual, and these two bastard connectors are the only ones like this.
no fault to haltech. its gm's fault. they are bastards. However, i feel its kinda necessary to mention this as this will ruin someones day pretty quickly. yeah, my haltech install has come to a screeching halt now because of this crap. |
Actually, blame Delphi. They have a love affair with pull-to-seat connectors. We now have a push-to-seat version of the IAT and CLT connectors. I'll check to see if we have any spare pull-to-seat pins. If we do, I'll send them out to you.
As a tip, always check the pins before you crimp them. If they have a locking tab on them, the direct it faces will give away what type it is. If there is no locking tab, it's generally push-to-seat. |
thanks chris. i was just caught in the groove of cut, crimp, then pin. when i got to these, it shat all over my mojo.

I had the EXACT same thing happen to me. It shut me down for a couple of days until I was able to source a new connector...

Haltech actually did good with this guide http://www.haltech.com/wp-content/up...ECTORS-ALL.pdf
