Injector Clips

I'm finishing up a flying lead harness on my FC. I like the weatherpack style connectors that came with my haltech kit. I need to purchase some new clips for my fuel injectors.

What are my options?
Will the generic bosch clips fit?

What about these weatherpack style clips?

I'd like to go with the weatherpack clips. I haven't found much about them searching the forum. I did find a couple of sites through google that suggest they'll fit. I have aftermarket injectors but they were plugged into a stock FC harness in the past.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I dunno if you can those things technically Weatherpak connectors, but those are definitely "Bosch style" plugs.

BTW, I *HATE* those Weatherpak crap.
I'd take Duestch connectors anyday!

I use those all the time, they fit the Bosch styled injectors, the S4 injectors have this type of connector, but there is a little guide (notch) ontop that is offset from center on the S4 injectors, you will need to file it down to make that connector fit, since on the regular bosh that notch is in the middle, that it, no big deal.

Wait, or is that on the OEM coolant sensor, i know ive done it on one of those 2, :D.

Anyway, yeah, i know it fits.

As Claudio says those connectors will fit S4 injectors, Bosch injectors, and aftermarket (Marren) import style injectors. They will not work with S5 injectors. The later Mazda injectors have an oval style plug that seems to be proprietary. I've never found them in the aftermarket.

The type that Summit has there are good. Some cheaper clips don't have the wire bridge across that you can see in the pic that makes it easy to disconnect them. The ones I got from KGParts.com don't, and they are a PITA to disconnect in cramped spaces. I didn't even notice that before I wired them and they'll get replaced soon. Weatherpak connectors just refer to a specific style of connector, like the Deutsch (sp?). Both are just as good as the other for what they do, but the Deutsch connectors are smaller and you can get them in greater wire capacities. The Weatherpak I think go up to 6, while the Deutsch I have seen up to 16. Just try finding a good space to use one of the 6 pin Weatherpak connectors btw, they're kinda big. I don't think I've seen any Weatherpak specific injector connectors either. Both are also "weather resistant." Just pay attention whether your clips are push to seat or pull to seat before you start putting them together. What I really like are cannon plugs, but I can't find any outside the military.:(

Claudio, I think you're thinking about the sensor connectors. I hate how Mazda friggin' went out of their way making the connectors have weird little offsets on their guide notch thingies. I didn't even think to file one down so it'll fit. I'll have to go do that so I can replace my broke ass coolant sensor connector.

Those connectors are just nippondenso, fuel injected toyotas from 88 and on have them too. :D The S5 injectors are identical to the 7M supra's injectors. And i've personally pulled them off a 5S celica at a pull-a-part junkyard, and off a 90-95 Paseo and Tercel.

Yeah i checked, its the coolant sensor that has the guide you have to file down. I dont have any S4 injectors with me right now to double check, but i know these connectors we're talking about fit the stock mazda coolant sensor filing down the guide, ive done it.

Amen! I used as many dtm connectors in my wiring install as possible, too bad they're so expensive...
