How many Dyno Pulls????

I'm trying to guesstimate how much it will run us some dyno time. I'm tuning a 13bt FC on 4 720s and BNR 2 on a e6x, I street and dyno tune lot of hondas, 4 evos so far, and street tuned my last N/A FC from scratch on a megasquirt... but this will be my first time tuning a turbo rotary and want to take my time and do a banging job.

This will be my first paying turbo rotary job, and word of mouth is your best advertisement, everything has already been taken care of. I tuned the entire vacuum portion of the map, i'm running 15.5A/F cruising with 36*. only running 2* split from 2100rpm and on... the dyno we are going to be using doesn't whole load, so i guess that will make my job even more difficult. I'll like to have him pay for at least 3 hours, or bring that in his pockets if anything.

What do you guys thing?

one more thing.. do you guys feel comfortable street tuning hi hp rotaries?? cuz when i tune hi hp pistons i usually do the entire thing on the street and maybe hit the dyno for 45 minutes to touch the ignition here and there a bit. i guess its just experience right?

same as pistons engine,if is a street car,do the tuning in closed safe road, when your a/f and safe timing is there,go to the dyno and spend an hour as much, thats what i do.

Really depends on how much you want to do, how much experience you have and whether or not you run into problems!

I spent 3.5 hours on the dyno, over 50 pulls on my last session and got about 80% done, but I am a small tuna in a sea of big fish :)

If this is your first time tuning a boosted rotary be prepaid for everything to go wrong. That is all I can say. EVERYTHING.

i would go with a list, or a flow chart. i dont dyno much, so between all the heat and the noise i dont get much done.
