HELP REQUESTED!! Map & Datalog Inside

2 Attachment(s)
Hi there everyone

Ok I have been working on a trigger problem for a few days, but after shielding the shit out of the wires I got it pretty good. It isnt doing the HIGH RPM spikes like it was.

But the problem I am having now is I cant rev the car about about 2200 RPM's, it is like it is hitting a Fuel/Ignition cut, it is always in the exact same spot.

Before you look at the Map or Datalog, I am running 550Pri but the 1600Sec are not working because they are gummed up BADLY. The car was sitting for 3 years before I got it, and all 4 of the injectors would not fire, even with 12V applied directly to the injectors. So I Install a spare set of KNOWN GOOD 550cc Primary's but I didn't have another set of 1600 so I left the bad ones in there until I can send them off to be cleaned. So i was thinking that it could be that the ECU is wanting the 1600 to come online but it is very early for them, so that is what I need help on.

What is causing the brick wall that I cant pass, this 2200ish wall.

I dont have a Wideband in this car.

Other then this so far I am getting the hang of the Haltech, I have a Power FC w/Datalogit in my other car.

I have Attached the Base Map and the Datalog, you can see that no matter how much throttle I give it, it will not go above this 2200ish limit.

I dont know if it is a antilag or Ignition cut or Fuel cut, or if there is just a setting that is not correct,

Here is the Specs

93 FD
13B-REW
Stock FD CAS
500Pri (Working) / 1600Sec (Not working)
Stock Twins

I will Post a Video of the problem also in a few mins

Looks like it certainly could be the secondarys not working. From the datalog it looks like it hits a wall at around 0 psi which is where you have the staging bar set. The secondarys are actuated by load, not by RPM. So to confirm if this is the issue simply try to slowly rev the engine by only slightly opening the throttle. If it revs out then it's the secondary issue. If it doesn't then you have other problems.

Thanks for the QUICK reply!!

I have been reading the E6X manual sense I posted this thread, trying to find out how the ECU controlled the Secondary

I just went out there and tried the very lite load, and it still is not reving past 2200ish.

Any other Ideas.

From the look of the Datalog, does it look like a Trigger problem? Reading some of the threads on the trigger issues they have the same type of problems but they are always up near 6-7K range not the lower range.

On the Stage setting there is a range from 1-32, what is this in? Bar? I was going to increase this to 2-3psi untill i get the injectors back from being cleaned. I am just tring to get the car bug free at the moment, as long as I know where a problem is and what it is, I can plan for the solution.

I went back and looked at your log. Between 60 and 70 seconds in there is a clear trigger issue. RPM are all over the place and have no correspondence with TPS.

Why is your intake air temperature so hot, while your coolant temperature is relatively cool? Also, I am assuming you are using a 3 bar map sensor?

Problems:

- No Gains on either reluctor. Set them to 3 and 4 respectively
- Tooth Offset is not 11; it's 5.

Set coil charge time up to 4ms. The fuel and ignition maps are blah (meaning they'll work but they're not great.) Same with both fuel corrections maps. Change those two values above and give it a try again.

If Chris says there's a trigger issue, then follow his advice on resolving it.
