Its truly an awesome box that Platinum. For those of you who have not seen it yet, here's a couple of screenshots and some pics of it. Its only available as a PnP application for the 350Z so far, but hopefully it will be a universal system by the end of the year.

Yeah, the software is off the hook, you can change anything you want visually, add columns, delete rows, add gauges, bar graphs, text graphs, make different page layouts to suit your visual needs and thats only the beginning, the USB communication makes it SICK fast, for file loading and retrieval and the live gauges and data display operate very smoothly and quick.

Well, the E11 is still a very capable system with lots of inputs and outputs that is more that at home with pretty much all popular applications.

It can still hold its own.

Personally I could care less about the gee-whiz graphics of the tuning software. The software used for the E8/11 works. Might not win and art contest but it lacks nothing for functionality. Where Haltech needs to step up is the datalog viewing end of the software. The current datalog viewer is almost embarrassing.

I 2nd that about the datalogging viewing(screen) setup its not working for me @ all its kinda confuseing....

I don't understand why Haltech won't work with Innovate Motorsports to use their LogWorks 3. They already resell their products seems like a logical step to use their data logging software. I had been working with the guy at DataLog Lab to get our CSV files to work with that software its to bad it costs money though. I ran out of time on my trial so I didn't finish getting all the log data types in the configuration file. The main thing I'm after is a load verses rpm graph with average, min, max values for AFR. Makes tuning afr so much easier.

Is this way we are still waiting for the new improved version of the E8/E11 software? :)

Can't wait for a few simple software issues to be fixed. Any idea when it will be released? Nothing on haltech forum or haltech website.

Looks like a cool system this platinum thing.

Ian
