Haltech newbie with pinging
 

Hey all, first the facts:

S5 13BT stock ports
720 cc secondaries
Haltech e6k
intake/3" turbo back

Ok, here's the story: I'm running my friend's map(cymfc3s), richened up for my 720s(vs. his 1600s), and whenever I roll on the boost, I get a rapid pinging. The sound is akin to a woodpecker, if you can imagine. It doesn't matter what rpm I'm at, it starts pinging. It doesn't matter how much fuel I add, it still pings. Sometimes rolling on the boost won't cause it to ping, but it almost always pings by the time it hits .15 Bar. I tried out the map that came with my haltech(a S4 13BT with a t04e and 720 secondaries), I got the same results. At this point, I'm suspecting either bad wiring, or bad injectors. But I'll be the first to admit I know very little about haltech trouble shooting. Had anyone ever heard of this? It's kind of weird I thought. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to approach this, I'm probably going to need lots of detail on how to do stuff(like test injector impedence maybe?). Thanks in advance guys!

Solved.

Forgot to zero the timing during install. Did so now, no more pinging. Oops! :D
