haltech map sensor

Anyone know if the haltech map sensors found on speedmachine would work with a stock ecu if the wiring was made compatable? cause i cant seem to find a N370 part number pressure sensor anywhere...

what kinda car is the N370 pressure sensor off of.. ? NA?

Yes.
The stock Turbo II boost sensors are 2-bar MAP sensors.
Just keep in mind that the wiring between S4 and S5 boost sensors are different.
One uses +12VDC and +5VDC, while the other uses just +5VDC (I think).
The GM sensor that Haltech uses just requires the +5VDC, ground, and signal.

I might have that sensor off a 87 t2 in a box of parts in the garage somewhere... PM with an offer and if it's fair I'll go dig it up.

Its been said that the stock map sensor found on FC's is similar to a haltech 2bar (GM styled), but its very likely that the output characteristics aren't presicely the same, if you do use it with a stock ECU you might need a AFC of some kind to dial it right.

Otherwise, just toss the stock ECU in a box put it away and use a haltech.:D

But Ted is right, the stock map sensors use both 5v and 12v, so you need to confirm with a wiring diagram to see how to connect it, and make sure you dont feed 12v to the GM sensor or you'll probably kill it.
