haltech installed, car runs, then dies.

I finally got my car running. a 2 year project is almost at the end. :) Its hard starting, and acts like the timing is off, but i have not moved the CAS from where it was when i bought the car. Once it finally starts, it has tremendous throttle response, very crisp and quick revs. Watching the engine data page, the inj. pulse width is right around 9% (720cc primaries) and p/w is 6.xx ms. Then after about 10 seconds, the duty cycle jumps to 20-26% and the car sputters and dies. Once i clean the plugs off and reinstall them, it will do the same thing. The longest i have gotten it to run is approx. 30 seconds. I dont know what is making it become rich like this. BDC made my base map for me, and said it should be right on for my setup, which i believe, simple due to the fact that the throttle response is awesome. Any ideas? This is kinda disappointing...
Thank you

It jumps to 20-26% all by it's self? First thing I'd do is a datalog. Once you get it going start the datalog and let it run untill the engine dies. Go back through the log and see if you can find anything out of the norm.
Also make sure you have the idle/BAC and o2 control disabled to make sure they aren't doing anything yet.

I double checked the O2, its turned off (and not even hooked up) and i dont have a BAC valve, idle is adjusted by the hard idle screw. Problem is, it doesnt matter how much gas i am giving it via the throttle pedal, it will still die...no matter 1500rpm or 3500. Still acts the same.

I'd still run a datalog to see if you can catch anything

Check the line to your Map Sensor. Make sure it is hooked up to the Map Sensor correctly.

If the MAP wasn't hooked up right he woulden't be able to rev the engine, probably woulden't even run at all.
