Haltech and Idiot Lights
 

Hey All,
Im pretty sure the answer is no, but wasn't able to find an answer through my searches. I have an S5 TII and just installed a PS1000 using the patch loom and was wondering if the Haltech will still communicate with the idiot lights? Reason I ask is I am going to make my own fiberglass dash and will probably eliminate those if they are not needed anymore.

The only idiot light the stock ECU would activate is the check engine light. All the others were part of their own system (coolant, door open, low gas, wiper fluid et cetera) and will all function with the haltech.

Ok sweet. Thats good to know. In that case, Ill just keep the cluster with the new dash. Thanks!
