Haltech E11V2 Problem

The other day I went to wash my car. I finish washing the car and the car starts right up to pull it out of the area so I can dry it. I dry the car and get ready to leave and as I try to start the car once again it just cranks and cranks over. I checked the engine bay to see if any water got on any relays or fuses but they all checked out fine. I can hear the relays for the ignition, power supply and fuel pump click on when the key goes to the on position. I checked all the fuses in the kick panel of the drivers side and they all seem fine as well. I went ahead and took out the E11 to see if it was wet and its completely dry. Is there any way to check the E11 when its out of the car to see if its ok? I also forgot to mention that when my car wouldnt start at the carwash, the factory FC clock reset itself and the radio lost all its presets. I also tried to bring the Haltech online with my laptop but it doesnt connect with the key to the ignition on position. Any input would help. Thanks.

I had a similar problem altho not with the haltech, Everything would work but it just wouldent start, I havent found a reason yet...

BTW

How do you like the E11, I was thinking about a e6x?

I like it alot but not right now...lol. Its a good computer but I just really need my car running again. The E11 is pretty superior compared to the E6X. Anyone else have any ideas?

if you lost your clock, power was interrupted somewhere, somehow. look carefully for shorts everywhere and (obviously), try it when it's completely dry.

are you getting spark or fuel?

Turbo II FC 09-09-04 08:49 PM

No fuel or spark is going to the motor of course because the Haltech is not powering up and isnt coming online with the laptop. I went ahead and tested the computer outside of the car and somethings wrong inside. I also turned the key to the on position and checked the constant and switched 12v right before it enters the E11 at the harness and its recieving power so I dont think anything is wrong with the wiring. I also checked the grounds and theyre fine. I checked the haltech fuse box with a multimeter and each fuse is getting a constant 12v as well. Time to send it back to Australia but im gonna go ahead and redo all the wiring just to make sure. Thanks for the input guitarjunkie. Any other ideas?
