Fuel pump to e6k relay.
Hello, wiring last wire... Fuel pump power to relay, have power/fuse done.
This is for a S5 Jspec N374 sideblackbox/resistor. My question is refering to the fuel pump running though two relays as well as a resistor or is this not possible? Would like to keep factory resistor without removing if possible. Currently Fuel pump power is going from 255walb to relay then that power goes to 30a fuse to the 12v terminal. My situation [Flying] My setup is 12v terminal to fuse to the relay and then off to the fuel pump, I cannot Figure out if im able to simply remove the old power/fuse and go straight from relay to my setup. so that would be Fuel pump - relay - relay - fuse - power (hitting resistor) How would I go about this? Would I need to remove the resitior completly, then remove old relay complete remove all old resitor-lines for other devices going off that relay. (and if so what is required to do to tie up loose ends on relay and the resitor) Or could I just cut end of fuel pump and connect to mine. (use mine off fuse) |
Connect the output of the Haltech fuel pump relay (orange/blue wire) to the positive side of the fuel pump. Bypass all the stock circuitry.

I understand how this works. But don't know where to go with it.
Orange -(this goes to the fuel pump power (MY QUESTION)) Orange -got 12vpower with fuse Black+yellow - harness Grey/Grey - trigger grey to tailing coils 6 green (got 12vpower)+ wired into main power relay Connect the output of the Haltech fuel pump relay (orange/blue wire) to the positive side of the fuel pump. Bypass all the stock circuitry I will BYPASS this old relay and will remove it, has no use with the haltech. My Real issue is how will I do this and what will be used and what will NOT be used. Black/White - is a ground Black - is a ground Blue - Power Red- Power I do not understand what is required for me, What I need to do is take the Fuel pump power and take it to my Haltech E6K Relay. What is to be done with the others and by color. The Colors are what is confusing me I don't see how they are involved with mysetup. Can someone give me a discription of these wires and what I should do to get them grounded and power and ignored. Is it simply Don't USE RED don't USE solid black? Take the blue to the orange on haltech and Take the black/white to the chassis or to the solid black chassis ground? |
.Hook the Haltech wire to the Pump wire.snip the wire near the connector, between the connector and the pump/tank..
You can leave all the rest of the garbage wiring on there if you like as it is only Sitting there now.(Do not remove any wires before the connector, between connector and car.you need the fuel sender wires.leave them alone) The Haltech now powers the pump. The sender wires are still attached(empty to full). |
Should I just ground the solid black to the chassis or let it run to the fuse box?
Asuming it was running for secondary fuse for relay. No longer needed as I have e6k fuse box 30 10a 3. It's saying its grounded so I geuss thats fine. but I don't know if I should snip that one before the connecter and go staight to chassis. The ground is just a clip off the top fuel pump cover under the metal plate in hatch. Black runs to connecter then fuse. |
