FD BAC question
i finally got my AC working on the FD and now that i've got the compressor on, the load is bringing the idle down a little too low. so, i decided i'd hook up my stock FD BAC to raise the idle a little.
well, it seems that no matter what settings i use (even with everything zero'd out) the idle instantly jumps up and starts loping between 1500-2000 rpms as soon as i enable the BAC. i've been trying to use the settings the SLO and crispeed have posted in the BAC threads, but it doesnt seem to matter what settings i use -the idle just jumps up and lopes up and down. it seems like the settings page for the BAC pwm just doesn't do anything. i am using 1.71 BTW anyone else have this problem? |
under your pwr where you set a idle speed as an output you should have a ms field.
try setting that to 10-30 ms. Your min cold/hot settings will affect your bac and how long it stays open. just sounds like it's running too much all the time. Just adjust your min's and your period. |
