E8 and variable RPM points

Welp, I knew it could handle it, but this was the first time I've messed around with it.
Apologies in advance if this is old news...

You need to go into the Text View of your fuel / ignition maps to change the values.
Then you need to Unlock the map.
Then you're allowed to change the RPM points on the left, vertical column.
Initially I had problems getting the changes to stick - you need to hit <ENTER> after every change!
I was just overwriting each RPM point, and that doesn't save the changes. :(

I was then dreading having to manually interpolate the new RPM points - anyone who has messed with changing the E6K RPM points between 500RPM versus 1000RPM knows what I mean - I was pleasantly surprised the E8 did this automatically!
Yay for Haltech for getting this right!
So it's probably easiest to get the maps tuned as much as you can, and then go ahead and change the RPM points...then fine tune your new RPM points afterward.

Now, I wish Haltech would allow us to CTRL-C and CTRL-V between the two maps!
You can only do a CTRL-C and CTRL-V within the same map itself - which doesn't make any sense, oh well.
I got stuck tuning Fuel Map 2 (don't ask), and somehow the setting automatically changed back to Fuel Map 1.
It looks like there is no easy way to copy my entire Fuel Map 2 points into Fuel Map 1. :(

Bring up the 2d map for both fuel maps 1 & 2. Highlight the entire Fuel map 2 like you would normally do to make a change(Ctrl left or right arrow). Edit, then copy the map and then paste it to Fuel map 1. Too bad you can't highlight the entire fuel map in the text view to copy and paste it. It only allows you to do one load point at a time in text view.

You can Highlight the map and copy and paste in the text view, I use this all the time to save just a portion of the map, or just a single map to an excel file

Does anyone know if picking a different RPM range under options, variable RPM points setup will interpolate between the existing points?

Funny. I can't seem to highlight nor copy mine that way?

I always have excel handy to do these sort of things, that way you can copy past between the 2 programs with no problems.
