E6K plug, need help to identify
its a 4 wire plug,
full shield off of ecu to 4 wire plug plug 4 wires Black (shield wire), white, pink, and black (not shiled.) what is this plug for? E6K thanks Bryon |
Hmmm, i would say it's either your CAS or O2 sensor
best way to tell is to check the pin number on the connector and check it against the wire diagram http://www.haltech.com.au/downloads/E6Kdiagram.pdf |

https://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y1...325081621a.jpg dunno if this helps looks to be 20 g wires, white, pink, and grey or black, and shield wire, all three are in a white shielded wire to the main connector. |
Dang, thats a wierd one, the K never had that connector that i know off.
Is that close to the main ECU connector or down the harness? |
close to main connector.
|
I just looked in the e6k book and it doesant show any arrangement like that. What does the box look like?
|

Do you have a multi-meter. you need to check continuity at the pins to find out what they are for... that connector looks like something someone added and is probably for the CAS
|
so i took the main connector apart,
and looked at the pins, this connector has pin 8 pin 9 and a ground. when i look at the wiring diagrams avail, nothing matches those pins and colors. |
Looks like it's for the programming cable. Look at the Hitman diagram, they probably extended the wires with different color wire's??

thanks alot, that diag, makes the most sense of all the ones i have seen.
