E6k or E11

What advantages does one have over the other on a rotory application???

I am about ready to give up on the blow-through Mikkuni, and go to FI. I need to gather info since this is still pretty much voo-doo to me.

I will be runing an old school 4-port with a T04b hybrid, S5 LIM, FD UIM. I need advice on injector size and which computer to use.

Thanks
Ryan

Well I can tell you the E6K is tried and true, not sure if they worked out all the bugs with the E11 yet. I went with the E6K because I wanted to drive my car this summer (not sure if they are making E11's yet again) and I figured I could take that 500-600 bucks saved and put it towards a WBo2 meter.

I'm guessing you could probably go with some 550's and 1300's for the amount of fuel you will need for the hybrid turbo but if you plan on upgrading in the future you could jump straight to the 1600's.

I would stick with the E6K only because the E11 is still a bit quirky with 2-rotor ignition (per the last firmware).

By "a bit quirky", I think we can say Brian is being polite.;) Mine is being downright ornery.

Heh.

I had the pleasure of installing one of these in a friend of mine's car about 4 months ago, right as they came out. I had several problems but finally got it to run. Once it was running, it was bouncing the tachometer all over the place and knocking the engine.
