Drivability issues...
So I was driving my car the other day and all of a sudden,
I was at a light and when I pressed the clutch in, I couldn't rev the engine past 1300 RPMs!! It just sat there and popped/ backfired as if it was "anitlagging, or 2-stepping". Don't use either, yet.. I Didn't touch the maps. If I was NOT pressing the clutch, then I could rev it. Even while driving, switching gears it will do it.http://smiliesftw.com/x/madgo.gif The clutch was NOT wired to the Haltech, so I have no idea what's goin on!!!http://smiliesftw.com/x/stupid_1.gif I checked the TPS,Coolant temp sensor,CAS, nothing diff there... Thanks in advance. ~Tony 13B-REW Haltech E8 Greddy T78 |
Might be gremlin season starting! :rlaugh:
Actually check under the dash in the clutch pedal area and make sure no wires are being shorted out by the movement of the clutch. http://www.topgear.com/content/timet.../0063/main.jpg BTW. You still running a clutch in that thing? I would have guessed a stiff kick in the ass would get it going! |
Damn you beat me to it i dont know much about the computer but i know about screwing things up. :wallbash:

Did ya check to see if the Antilag got enabled with the clutch switch somehow? Gremlins do tend to be dilligent :D

no wires near it at all....
and the clutch isn't hooked up to the haltech..:Wconfused Can the ecu act up if it gets too hot, because it's like a furnace in my car. p.s. I usually tie a twinkie on that stick and put it in front of "Betty" the bull and she gets scootin. |
