Main page - Load Type needs to be set to internal 2.5 bar
Trigger page - Trigger Angle will probably start around 65
- Tooth Offset should be 11
-Trigger Edge should be falling

NZ_87_TURBO 08-16-07 09:52 PM

I can only set the load type to 1,2,3,4,or 5 bar, no internal 2.5bar

Did your unit actually come with an internal 2.5 bar sensor, what version of software are you using? can you please check the firmware version of your ECU?

How do you have your trailing coils wired?

If they're wired according to hitman/k2rd - your aux. out should be set to ign. toggle

Good call. If you have it wired to toggle the trailing coils (Spark Mode = Distributor) you need to set Aux Out to Ignition Toggle. If the Spark Mode is set to Direct Fire and you have it wired as such the Aux Out setting you have now is OK.

The guy i brought it off said he was using the internal map so his word is the only reason i have to beleive that.
im using HalwinX 1.0, just found the 1.26v so will install that

should i have a more updated copy?

How do i check the firmware of the ECU ( please dont tell me i have to rip up my carpet again )

ok new sofware is much better.

Do i lock the timing to 5btdc? Ive read abit about it but can find out why

classicauto 08-18-07 10:20 AM

lock timing @ -5 ATDC

The marks on the pulley are @ 5 BTDC...........the Haltech only locks values after top dead center, so it needs to be negative in order to be before top dead center and match the pulley
