base map needed.
 

i need a base map for a haltech e-11 v2. will haltech provide a base map or do i have to beg someone else. i wanter to run the engine this weekend.

The E11 comes with a base map. Did something happen to yours?

so it comes with a map good enough to run the engine? i am new to the e-11 as you can tell.

A regular person can't tune an EMS, so you are going to need to take the car to a professional Haltech tuner. Your Haltech vendor should have explained this to you. Anyway, Chapter 2 of the manual explains how to access the map library. Didn't your E11 come with an instruction manual? Who sold you the E11?

Also, I'm moving this thread to the Haltech subforum.

It should be good enough to crank the engine to start on stock fuel injectors.
This doesn't mean it'll idle for you.
