Another no start. :)

So i've got the haltech all dolled up(kinda) and it won't start. I verified that i've got spark and fuel. The injectors click and the coils shock so its all good. It seem as if the motor is flooded. I ran out of battery and at times is seemed like the CAS wasn't spinning fast enough for the injectors to fire. Is this normal? I've got the Tooth offset at 1 and the angle at 90. I also stabbed the CAS the standard mazda way. This is my first venture with stand alone but not with rx-7s. The car smokes and seems like it wants to start. At one point it started but a friend let off the throttle. Any advice?. Haltech e6s-8(yes i have msd boxes) on an Aux Bridgeported turbo II. 720/1600

Update. The car started today with 100% throttle on tps. It would spin and spin and spin and struggle and start. The car will stay on with about 30-50% throttle. We got it started by messing with the timing. We retarded to the max, turned CAS 2 teeth back to just retard it some more. This is the only way to start the car. We did this with -90BTDC and 1 tooth offset. Any help will be awesome

Read hitman's webpage:

If you're stabbing the CAS the "stock" way or mazda recomended way the tooth offset should be 11.

There might be other issues but thats the first that jumps out at me.

That doesn't make any sense...
If the TPS showed "100%", the fuel injectors should not be firing.
If the fuel injectors cannot fire, there is no way the engine should've fired.

Looking at your tooth and angle offset, are you using a timing gun to verify ignition timing?

no ignition gun. I just set it to mazda spec and played with the CAS. If in fact the injectors aren't firing then its got to be flooding not letting the car start. Got any maps for me? ;)

Shouldn't the angle be 65 degrees?
