air temp sensor q..
 

i purchased this car a week ago with the haltech e6k already installed and a o mile motor. it runs but kind of rough. ive been tinkering with it and it seems to be getting better but while under the hood i saw 3 bare wires sticking through a corroded loom!! turns out one was a power wire for some relay. it melted through and nearly soldered 2 other wires to itself. i had to tear them all apart to repair. one wire was the white wire of the ats. probably pos wire? anyway......

when i have the laptop on it says the air temp is -40 fault. so does anyone know how to check with a multimeter if my air temp sensor is bad? or what sensor i need to buy or where to even get it? i think that is giving me some serious issues while trying to tune.
