3 wire O2 sensor to E8
 

I need to know how to hook up a 3 wire o2 sensor to my E8. Theres two white wires and one black. This is just a guess but does one white goes to signal and another white goes to power (does it matter which one?) and black goes to ground ? :Wconfused

Sounds like that's a heated 1V narrowband sensor. Are you sure that narrowband doesn't have a gray and white instead of two whites? One will be for switched +12V and the other for input signal. Honestly, ya only need to wire up the input signal. The heated portion is for working O2 readings while the exhaust is still cold ultimately for emissions controls...

Ok I hooked it up and I guess I got the 2 white wires crossed cause on the O2 output on the ECU it says like 1060mv or something and barely moves like one or 2 mv. So is that right or do I have the wires crossed? Thanks

It's not hooked up right if it's reading 1V.

ok ill go swap the wires and see what happens, what should it read without it running? 0v?

Either that or your mixtures are pig rich and its pegged at its max reading. My 2 cents, get a wideband, realistically you will get better feedback from it. An AEM gauge, an Innovate LC-1 with DB Gauge, they all cost about the same and have the 0-5v output that you can feed to the Haltech and will work much better.

I hooked it up and it stays around 50-70mv while running, I am also getting a wideband too

Ok I got the O2 sensor working but im comparing my boost gauge and my map sensor read out on my pc and at idle and my boost gauge has good vacuum (around -10 if thats normal) but the MAP is reading 0.5 psi at idle. Ive been through 4 sets of spark plugs due to overflooding (I suspect). I know it needs to be tuned but could the MAP reading affect the air/fuel ratio and making the plugs go bad? Should I put my MAP on the same hose as my boost gauge? I know im still new to this but does this sound like i'm making sense? Thanks

Main Setup -- setting for the MAP sensor correct? 0.5psi when at idle is off. Does it always read that? Could be you've got a bunk vacuum supply port for the MAP sensor that's not actually pulling vacuum.
