20B on E6K or E6X
Anyone able to point me out to E6K/E6X map/settings/wiring for 20B...
I know its not the best ECU for the job, but i know it could do it (no split) and its my only option now (= thats what i got) thanks! hIGGI |
i ran mine with the e6k, just pretend its a v6...
as far as maps go (went?) i just took a 13bt map and changed the number of cylinders... |
...i guess i`ll need some more detailed help....i found the notes about wiring coils
Front rotor coil/ignitor: - TAN, switched +12VDC, fused to 10A - PINK, signal lead from E6K (IGN OUT, 18awg LIGHT GREEN) Centre rotor coil/ignitor: - TAN, Switched +12VDC, fused to 10A - PINK, signal lead from E6K (DIGOUT1, 18awg WHITE w/ BLACK STRIPE) Rear rotor coil/ignitor: - TAN, switched +12VDC, fused to 10A - PINK, signal lead from E6K (DIGOUT2, 18awg BLUE) , but how about wiring injectors ? |
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the ONLY way an E6X/K will properly run a 20B motor will be using the old style distributor that Racing Beat sells, run it in Standard Trigger mode, set to 6 cylinder and thats it.
Check it out here: http://www.racingbeat.com/photos/11603.jpg This will also allow you to run proper leading and trailing timing. |
I know i wont be running it exactly proper way, but i hear it could run on E6K/E6X with no trailing split...on stock CAS

I have Crane Hi6 but i suppose i cant really use it...
|
Yes you can.
Youll need 3 boxes and 3 coils at the least. Run 3 dual channel ignitors. Run 3 bosch coils and 3 crane hi-6 units. That will be alot of spark. |
since i have only one Hi6, i wont use it.....i found 3 FC TII trailing coils which i`ll use, modified to to fire together....
anyways, original question is still on.....how to wire/setup injectors? |
