I don't know if we got verification they WON'T fit... but let's make sure "longer" will actually work for you.

Maybe you can get me a measurement from the tow hook mount to the front edge of your bumper? At least that will give us an idea of what we *actually* need.

garage alpha - @Rotary_Menace and I have the same front bumper.

The one extra measurement we would need to confirm fitment is the offset distance in the picture below, so that we can see if the hook will fit into either the radiator or oil cooler openings (depending which way round we flip it).

Regardless of length, if the offset doesn't work with our bumper, we would need to get an adapter plate anyway. Therefore the adapter plate could solve the length and offset for us.

garage alpha - I really appreciate you producing this part and your support of all these questions. I am not trying to make your life difficult

No, not making life difficult at all. I just picked up a batch from the CNC and need to drop them off at the metal former so they can do the bends. I will also reach out to the guys that have these test units for measurements.

In the meantime, can you take a measurement from the OEM tow hook mount to the front edge of your bumper? At least that will give us an idea of what we *actually* need.

Ok, sorry for the delay on my response, work has been crazy busy.

So first off, I feel dumb, as I am not 100% sure of the bolt hole locations. In the picture attached, are you referring to the green circle as the front bolt hole and then the rear bolt hole is the purple indent that will require drilling? (FYI I am running V Mount)

Or am I looking at completely the wrong area?

If i am in the right place, I assume then that your 30mm offset is to clear the bracket I highlighted with the red cross?

If all of my above assumptions are correct then the shape of your hook will place the hook into the bumper opening for the radiator. Plus the elongated holes in your design should allow sufficient play to adjust the angle to fit. Which is great.

As for length the measurements for the FEED ver.V bumper are as follows (please see my paper mock up for clarification)

From front bolt hole to bumper mesh (A to M) = 170mm. Therefore it should "just" fit. But I would expect it may be to be too short depending on what your 197mm measurement is to (the start or centre of the hook hole?).

FYI 197mm is shown at length A to B

To fully extend past the nose of the bumper it would need to be 315mm

My gut says the middle of these two, so roughly 250mm would be perfect. So likely an adapter would be needed.

Any thoughts on this or questions let me know!

You get an A+... extra credit for showing your work!

I will put all these numbers together next week when I am testing fitting and get you some feedback.

In the meantime, we have a batch of hooks that should be wrapping up soon.

Tow hooks are cut, CNC finished and sandblasted.

Just need to be bent and burnt and we're ready to roll.

From what we already cut, most went out to people for testing / feedback - which didn't leave us enough for a proper product launch. We want to have some on hand so people don't need to wait *too* long to get their product after order.

Basically, once we have a pile of cut/formed hooks - the group buy will tell us how many to polish/burn or sandblast.

I agree! Awesome. Front and Rear? Burnt or Sandblasted?

Just to keep you all in-the-loop... raw titanium is en route to the machine shop and should be there early next week.

From there it will be cut, CNC'd & bent. That should give us enough stock to officially open the group buy and guide us on how many get polished/burnt or sandblasted.

We have raw titanium being cut, CNCd and bent right now. We will have stock for about 20 of each. Here's the interest that I can glean from the posts:

1. FEED AFFLUX v5 - Front & Rear - both Burnt (with as much purple as possible!)
2. Copeland - F&R - Burnt (depending on price and measurements)
3. Cloud9 - F&R - Brushed (pending price)
4. Brekyrself - F&R - Brushed
5. su_maverick - R - Brushed
6. Narfle - F&R - Burnt
7. existanzrx7 - F&R - Burnt (would like to know price)
8. drifter-s - R - Brushed
9. 94 R2 - F&R - Burnt
10. Nakd n Fearless - R - Brushed
11. tv4184 - F&R - Burnt (pending price - as much burnt as possible)
12. REAmFC3S F&R Brushed (pending on price)
13. bigpanda - R - Brushed
14. Supranak - F&R - Burnt
15. castle2443 - F&R - Burnt
16. Kazuo7557 - F&R - Brushed
17. cvzg77r
18. idiazs

Once everything is cut and formed - we will start taking orders and that will tell us how many pieces get sandblasted and how many get polished/burnt.

Installed on JP3 Motorsports CYM. Slight trimming needed for the rear skirt. Nothing you would notice unless the car was up in the air - and even then - nada.

Able to make one that doesn't require trimming? Any front fitment shots on a stock bumper?

Probably not. If we had to trim the bumper itself or some sort of conspicuous area - then a redesign would be warranted. But just from the placement, we knew there would have to be minor modifications. Plus those bumper trim pieces are available and cheap if you ever wanted to go back to 100% OEM.

Even the RE-A Street diffusers are pre-cutout for the OEM tow hook:
