But for north of $3000 just for one seat and no rails, that's even more or at the very least on par with finding yourself a set of legitimate Type-R/RZ Recaros. Quite cost prohibitive.

Idk. I think these might be miles ahead of old used reactors (other than the Spirit R nostalgic aspect). People are paying $6k for a used set of recaros.

They also recline and are not fixed which to some is a benefit.

The cobra Nogaro is the closest seat to the oem recaro in terms of streetable bucket. (Lower lower bolsters for 3 points) There is also a nearly limitless color combination.

Again, we are working to make the slider and tilt mechanism more universal, so that if there is a different seat that fits the FD, it may be able to be adapted.

The problem with seats is, they hold people... and everyone has a different request/requirement, or even just preferred color. Originally we wanted these to be a singular seat option to make this simple and straight forward. A track worthy version of the RZ seat, and the Pole Position fit the bill. The current design goals are to finalize these options for the Pole Position specifically, but in this process we realized that we could create a more universal design that is adaptable to other seats. Hopefully this satisfies the original goals, while also giving people that want to adapt other seats some added options.

We’re getting very close to working prototypes. After some testing / load analysis with the finished product we can begin taking deposits and production will happen quickly. I can appreciate everyone having their own requirements / design requests, but at this point our goals are:
-GB on Pole Position (and other Recaro seats that fit). Possible Sparco options.
-Pole Position rails/fitment + slider option
-Add-on tilt feature as optional (seat will be lower without)

Considering it took them over a year to make quick releases for their fire extinguisher holder..... I'd say this seat bracket going into production is still a few years out.
